With M-Files Cloud Vault you can save any file to the cloud. All Windows applications are by default compatible with M-Files. This includes documents from Microsoft Office 2010 applications like Word or Excel, searchable PDF files from scanners, emails with or without attachments, AutoCAD, and literally any other file from any Windows application. You just save to the M drive and enter a few descriptive tags. That’s it.

One of the most powerful features of M-Files is that you never worry about folders again. Even the best designed folder structure quickly becomes unmanageable. M-Files Cloud Vault automatically maintains version history every time a document is changed, maintaining an auditable trail of changes from the time a document is created to its final released version, as well as each new version whenever it is revised. This is critical for compliance with standards and regulations like HIPAA in the medical space, ISO 9000/9001 in manufacturing or Sarbanes-Oxley in finance and accounting.
There’s nothing you have to do, M-Files Cloud Vault does it all for you. You can instantly retrieve any older version at any time to see what was changed, or roll back to an old version if you choose. Secure – never worry about losing data again

Secure Access Permissions: hide sensitive documents from unauthorized access, or allow some users to view documents while others can change them. Permissions can be set per document.

No Accidental Deletion: documents can never be accidentally deleted. If a user deletes a file it can always be quickly and easily recovered by "undeleting" the file.

Check-in / Check-out: ensure that changes to a document won't be overwritten by others. When someone checks out a document others can only view or work on a copy of the document until it is checked back in.

Reliability: there is more than one copy of a business’s data, and it is distributed geographically. Having more than one copy in different locations insulates a business from the risk of a server failure, power outage or natural disaster in a particular area.
Offline Use – access your documents even without an Internet connection
Even though M-Files Cloud Vault is a hosted solution, meaning your data is stored on servers that we manage for you, you can access documents even if you don't have access to an Internet connection, such as when traveling, or if your office network goes down.
